So, as previously mentioned...I am seriously behind on this blog! ugh!!! I still have cute pics to post from my recent family (Pocket Edward and Hideous Bella included of course!) vacay to Colorado!!! BUT... this was too cute not to post!!
Tomorrow morning we leave for TWICON in Dallas!!!! Yay for us!!! (aren't you jealous???)
Karen of course has been fully packed for over a week. If you knew her, you'd know this is completely normal for her. I, on the other hand, have not even begun to pack. This too is completely in character. I'm sure when my alarm goes off at 5am and I try to drag my sleepy butt into the shower I will regret this decision. Afterall, if I were Karen, luggage already loaded into the back of the vehicle and checklist complete...I'd be getting an extra couple hours of sleep. But of course tonight...I'd rather play on the computer, look at the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly...and catch up on the TV shows I DVR-ed this week. Oh well...can't teach an old dog and all that...
Anyhows...a few minutes ago I get a text from friend / fellow blogger / partner is crime...etc...letting my know that even though we are excited to be leaving in the morning...she knows someone even more excited. Yes, believe or not...we even have the full size Edward Cullen standup cutout. The infamous, 21 yr. old, terribly embarrassed by us son, purchased this...placed it in Karen and Donnie's bedroom one night while they were away...and scared them to death upon their arrival home. Oh yes, we are raising our children right! They, like us, find humor in the strangest things!
So in conclusion...our happy (ie: crazy!) little group will set off on our Twicon Adventure in the morning...and we will update next week with all the lunacy that we encounter...and lets be honest...that we also participate in!!!
